“Each morning we hold out the chalice of our being to receive, to carry, and to give back.” Dag Hammarskjold
Thank you for visiting my website and for exploring the possibility of doing ministry together. This site and my ministerial record cover much of my professional and personal life over the past few decades. One of the benefits of the search process is to get to know more dedicated Unitarian Universalists. I am grateful for the chance to get to know more about you, too.
I am a third generation Unitarian and Unitarian Universalists who grew up in central Massachusetts. After pursuing my education and my formation as a minister in New England, my first ministry took me to – – Alabama! My subsequent ministries have led me to South Carolina, Illinois, and Texas. After 12 years in Texas, I had the good fortune to return to Illinois. In my current ministry I am an interim co-minister with my spouse, Rev. Patrick Price, at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva. Life in the Western Chicago Suburbs is a wonderful experience for our ministry and with our two children ages 7 and 11.
After 20 years of ordained ministry, I seek a congregation with which to make good use of my skills and passions and to grow together in this faith. As a minister I love to lead worship with strong preaching and a creative approach to music and storytelling. My deepest areas of interest include lifelong faith development, stewardship, and building a beloved community based in anti-oppression work and a commitment to covenantal relationships. The past few years of ministry refreshed my sense of what ministers, professionals, and volunteers can do together with a clear sense of vision and a desire to share our collective experience and imagination. Our world needs our message of love and justice more than ever. I can’t wait to discover what we might build together!
