Pastoral Care

Celebrating the completion of my Clinical Pastoral Education at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, August 2017. I worked as a hospital chaplain there for ten weeks as part of my ministerial training.

Pastoral care takes many forms. I strive to be warm, welcoming and present in informal conversations such as church coffee hour; I invite congregants to meet with me individually when something is weighing on their heart; I visit members and friends of the fellowship when they are ill; I sit with families who have lost a loved one. This is one of the most important roles of a minister.
